Saxophones
General Information
- There are four main types of saxophones: the Barition, the Tenor, the Alto, and the Soprano. There are many more
however.
- Even though the instrument is made of brass, it is a woodwind instrument because it is played with a single-reed
mouthpiece, like a clarinet.
- The saxophone was the most expensive woodwind instrument around the time they were made.
