About Us

Our Beginning:

When the sister team of Machelle Wessman and Heidi Thode entwined their creative gifts as artists and writers to publish 24 greeting cards in 2012 they never imagined what would lie ahead. Machelle and Heidi showed their portfolio of original designs to several local shop owners; and received such a positive input that they decided to find a printer and jump into business. They have begun to write up orders, package cards and shipped them out from Heidi’s garage and recruiting numerous family members who share their enthusiasm.

Our Journey:

The very first cards were marketed exclusively to independent local shops. However, through the last year Machelle and Heidi have expanded their line of cards and many additional markets have been added. Greeting cards occasions offered by strokes of Mae include every day and seasonal designs home anniversary cards and bulk birthday cards.

Our Mission:

We are in the business of helping people communicate and preserve memories in ways that are both artistic and meaningful. There is great joy in knowing we are helping people make a real difference in the lives of those they care about.
