The GMC Cyclone was produced for a very short period in the early 90s. Very few people know about this truck because of this since there aren't many of these on the road today. Most owners keep these trucks in top shape and mainly use them on the drag strips. Its AWD (All Wheel Drive) gives it a very quick launch. It was for over a decade considered the quickest stock pickup truck. Atleast until the Dodge Ram SRT-10 truck came into the picture. The Cyclone off the line can outsprint the SRT-10 to 60mph, but once the SRT-10 gets good traction its nearly all over for this little truck. Still, it's hardly a pushover. The 4.3L v6 Turbo engine really makes this small pickup run with the big guys. |
