Ever since I had seen my first kung fu film, I have had a strong intrest in oriental films and filmmakers. The movies they make and techniques they use are unique and have a completely different feel than those made here in the US. They deal with different issues and, sometimes, have a completely differing outlook on similar issues we deal with in the states. Here are only four of the many filmakers that I think have a difinitive style and have contributed to filmaking as an art. | |
