Knights were the warriors of the medieval ages and excelled at fighting with swords and blades. The main weapon that these heavy knights, clad in armour made of metal and covered head to toe, used was the Greatsword. These giant blades, wielded with two hands, had great reach and great power. They were used out in open battlefields and made it easy to break an opponets guard. The secondary weapon that these knights had was the broadsword. These blades were made out of a coarse peice of metal and very sturdy. These blades were quite a bit smaller and were usually used in tight spaces like hallways or indoor rooms. These swords could be weilded with one hand so a knight could also have a shield to help defend themselves.
