The walleye is one of the most saught after fish in Minnesota as a trophy fish.
They get their name from the overly lagre eyes they have that are white when light is
shined on them, and they are easily recognized by the white tips on the ends of their fins.
They are among the few freshwater fish to be commercially grown and harvested
