My 1972 Custom Series Chevrolet El Camino...
when I first got it.
Ever since I was 9 I've had a love of El Camino's. Like when your a kid and you want
to grow up and be a fireman or racecar driver or something
like that. I was the kid who
wanted to own an El Camino. So my dad was always on the lookout for an affordable
one for me. In the summer of 2004
I had just about found one in Texas that I could
afford but the shipping made the purchase impossible. That same day my dad's friend
called me up and
asked if I was still looking for an El Camino. He said there was one
for sale out in the country around Brownton. My dad, my friend, and I all piled
in my
T-Bird and found the afore mentioned El Camino. As soon as I saw it I decided I would
buy it. After a quick call to grampa for a small loan.
The car was mine.
