Local Attractions
- The resort is located on the northwest corner of Green Lake in the village of Spicer. Spicer
offers a full range of restaurants, a well stocked supermarket with long hours, and convenience stores
all within a few miles of the resort. Spicer has a large public swimming beach and park (the site of a spectacular
4th of July fireworks event), miniature golf, and other activities for children. The former National
champion Little Crow Water Ski Team performs throughout the summer in nearby New London.
Golf-There are four 18-hole golf courses in the area. the closest course is just 3 miles from the resort. We will help you arrange tee times ahead of your visit if you wish.
Biking-The "Glacial Lakes Recreation (Paved) Trail" runs within 1/2 mile of the resort offering hours and miles of beautiful, safe biking and rollerblading. Also, North Shore Drive along the norht shore of Green Lake has been widened for bikers and offers a beautiful ride along the shore line.
Other Attractions-There are numerous craft shops and antique stores throughout the area. The larger town of Willmar is just 12 miles to the south, offering shopping movies and more restaurants. Just over 1 hour to the south is the ever popular Jackpot Junction Gambling Casino. Sibley State park is also close by.
