common

This is a Common Goldfish.

Their closest relative is the Prussian Carp, the only difference is their color.

Commons come in a variety of colors including red, white, orange/gold, or black and yellow.

Be careful about what other types of fish you mix with Commons and Comets, they will eat anything they can fit in their mouth!

bubble eye

This is a Bubble Eye Goldfish.

They have upward pointing eyes with 2 large fluid filled sacs underneath.

It wouldn't be a good idea to tank any aggressive, fast fish with these guys due to the delicate bags under their eyes.

fantail

This is a Fantail Goldfish.

They have an egg-shaped body with a high dorsal fin and a long quadruple tail fin that spreads out and resembles a fan.

These fish are classified as "fancy" like the Bubble and Moors. They're not a basic shape like the Comets and Commons.

panda

This is a Panda Moor Goldfish.

These fish have characteristic black and white color pattern with protruding eyes.

These fish don't have the greatest vision so they shouldn't be tanked with more active goldfish or with any sharp or pointed objects.

comet

This is a Comet Goldfish.

It's the most common variety in the United States

It's very similar to the Common, except slightly smaller, slimmer and has a longer forked tail.

Comets and Commons have been known to nibble on the tail fins of slower goldfish.

blackmoor

This is a Black Moor Goldfish.

It, like the Panda Moors, have telescopic eyes and should be tanked the same.

Because of their poor vision, they have trouble competing for food and that may need to malnutrition.
