Western Minnesota heating and cooling has new owners.
Eric and Julie Asfeld of Madison purchased the business from Mike Schacherer on October 17, 2011.

Eric has worked for Western Minnesota heating and cooling since 2009, after earning an HVAC degree from Northwest technical College of Bemidji.

The business will keep the same name and provide the same services, offering installation and services on all residential heating and air-conditioning products. Western Minnesota heating and cooling also does custom ductwork fabrication.

“Basically, anything out of sheet metal we can make,” said Asfeld.

Julie will handle the books and administrative duties of the business, and the company has one additional employee, Herb Leesburg.

Like any business owner, Asfelds goals are designed around customer satisfaction and doing good work.

“(We want) to have a successful business,” said Asfeld we’ll offer reliable products and services.
