- How many estimates do I need to get?
- You really only need to get one estimate. Your insurance company may require more than one estimate before settling your claim.
Multiple estimates help insurers determine the extent of your loss and prevent fraudulent claims.
- Do I have any choice who I take my car to?
- Legally you can choose any auto body shop you like to repair your car. When reporting your claim, immediately let your insurer know which shop you'd like to repair your vehicle.
- Does my insurance company need to inspect my vehicle?
- While they have the right to do so, they are not required to inspect your vehicle. Furthermore they cannot require you to take it to an "drive-in claim center".
- What do I do if I am in an accident and cannot drive my vehicle?
- Give us a call and we will tow your vehicle to our shop. We will work with the insurance company if they need to inspect the vehicle. Never drive a vehicle you suspect is unsafe.
- How soon can I wash my vehicle after it is painted?
- You can wash it immediately, but we suggest a mild detergent.
- How soon can I wax my vehicle after it is painted?
- We suggest you wait 90 days before applying the first coat of wax.
- How well will my paint color match?
- With our computer color matching technology your paint color should match extremely well. This is especially important with older vehicles where paint may have faded from the manufacturer's color.
- What if I am not happy with the estimate and course of repair action to be made?
- We are your advocate and we will work with you to persuade the insurance company in the correct course of action that is necessary to repair your vehicle to its pre accident condition.
