Some of the species of waterfowl in Minnesota.
|
The waterfowl I listed above are just some of the species of waterfowl that are here in Minnesota. Some other species that are common in the Minnesota wetlands are Bluewing Teal, Northern Shoveler, Northern Pintail, Snow Geese, Ross Geese, White-Fronted Geese, and Greater and Lesser Scaup. There are other species of waterfowl that I could mention but they are not huntable birds so I will not tell you about them. When hunting Ducks most waterfowlers hunt on the water over a decoy spread. But hunting geese can be a little more challanging because geese can be hunted on water and on land. Hunting either way is usually done over a decoy spread. |
