The Goldfish (Carassius auratus auratus) is a freshwater fish native to east Asia.

It was one of the earliest fish to be domesticated over a thousand years ago and is one of the most commonly kept aquarium fish.

They're a small member of the carp family, which also includes Koi carp and Crucian carp.

They come in various color, white, yellow, red, orange, brown and black.
