History

Franchisee, Cynthia Benjamin, has been in the hair industry since 1979. She started her career with Great Clips in 1989. Cynthia grew up in the McLeod County area but left in 1985 to do hair on the east coast in Massachusetts and New Jersey. In 1989 she moved back to Minnesota and started with a franchise group in Minneapolis. She started out as a stylist and over the next 10 years held management positions in Minneapolis. The opportunity to open Great Clips in Hutchinson drew her back to the area. It was at this time when she had also purchased the Willmar Great Clips. In April of 2000 she opened up her shop here in Hutchinson and has been going strong ever since!
