The Crazy Horse monument is very popular in South Dakota for all tourists that come to South Dakota for vacation. Crazy Horse was a very famous Native American back in the 1800's. A sculptor by the name of Korczak Ziolkowski came to Crazy Horse at the age of 40. He promised the Native Americans a mountain sculpture of Crazy Horse himself, riding a horse. He later on died and now his wife and his family are finishing the mountain where Crazy Horse is placed.
