Second Weekend of Deer Camp

The History of the Shack

The second weekend experience goes back 14 years.
The shack has moved three times in that period. It first
started at the Whiteface River. Then to Melrude and finally to
Mackenen, where it has been for eight years. It is tradition that
the guys in the family get together this weekend for card games,
football, and lots of partying. Although nobody has ever gone hunting
on this weekend at the shack, we seem to always have plenty of hunting stories.
